The Zama room block will be open soon!

The Hyatt Arlington is conveniently located 3 miles from (DCA) Reagan Washington  National  Airport ) and 24 miles from (IAD) Washington  Dulles International  Airport.

Transportation costs either by taxi or the Super Shuttle are reasonable. Overnight parking at the hotel is $17 per day in the self park lot. The Rosslyn metro station is located across the street from the hotel and there is a regular shuttle to/from  Georgetown.

Please note that flying into the Baltimore-Washington Airport and driving to D.C. is not recommended by the reunion committee due to distance and traffic congestion.

The official reunion events are:

Friday Night Welcome Reception
Saturday Night Dinner/Dance
Sunday Sayonara Breakfast (optional)

The committee is working to finalize the events and to analyze all the costs associated with organizing the reunion so that we can determine a per-person registration fee.

We will provide the cost information and all the details to you as soon as possible! We will also be using the new ZAA web site to track attendance and for the online sign up and fee payment process.

Please go to the ZAA web site to let us know you are planning to attend!

The reunion committee would like to get a preliminary count of those who are planning to attend as soon as possible!

We have set up an “event” on the ZAA web site for the 2010 reunion and we have created a form for you to complete if you are planning to attend. Some of you may have already completed this form when you first created your profile, but in order to get the most accurate data possible, we will reset this event and delete the data that is currently there.

We ask that everyone who plans to attend the reunion to go to the web site and complete the following steps:

GO To the Official Zama alum site:  HERE

1.  Create a profile by clicking on Schoolmate profiles and selecting your name from the list. Create your profile and select “yes” for “attending reunion” to indicate you will be attending the 2010 reunion.

If you have already created a profile, login and edit your profile under Member Functions. Select “yes” for “attending reunion” to indicate you will be attending the 2010 reunion.

2.  Go to 2010 Reunion link (on the left side bar) and complete the registration form to provide data on you and your guests if you will be attending the reunion.  Completing the above steps does not put you under any obligation to attend if you later decide you are unable to, but please be reasonably certain that you plan to attend so that the committee can use this data with confidence for planning purposes. Thank you for your cooperation and for your patience!

Other Optional Activities Are Also Being Planned

The reunion committee members are also looking into organizing other optional activities separate from the official functions at the hotel that we hope will encourage alumni to group together to enjoy all that Washington D.C.  area has to offer!

Please contact your committee at DCReunionInfo@zamaalumcom if you have questions and stay tuned for updates!

We hope to see you in  Washington  D.C. next year!
